Yes, I'm among those who wish Miley Cyrus would quit her over-the-top antics. She was cute as Hannah Montana, and she does not have to go to such great lengths to tell us she's grown up. Did she ever stop to think she could sell songs because her voice is decent? When my daughter asked me to listen to "Wrecking Ball" because "It's not that bad, Mom," I daresay I agreed.
But I digress before I even get started. In one of her latest photos, and actually quite a few before this one, Miley is sticking out her tongue for the camera. The headlines say, "Put it away, Miley. Is star's slimy tongue giving away her health secrets?" This story took off primarily because of Cher, who said, "Chick, don't stick out your tongue if it's coated." See the pic here ...
Miley is what, 20? She should not have a tongue that looks like that! Oral health experts have weighed in on Cher's observation, and many agree. Oral B Smile Director Dr. Uchenna Okoye says, "A thin coating is normal but a thick white coating could indicate candidiasis or oral thrush, which is a fungus."
getthegloss.com writer Emma Gunavardhana shares the scoop by also talking to Shabir Daya, co-founder of VictoriaHealth.com. "Your tongue is a window into what’s happening in your body — color, coating, and cracks are all indicators of the state of your health."

Somehow I don't think money is an issue with Miley, so she should invest a few dollars in her oral health, which in turn, as dental professionals are well aware, will improve her overall health. She's young. If she's going to keep up her crazy pace she'd better take care of herself.
