Business Money Management – How To Flourish And Prosper In Today’s Economy

I’ve noticed that, in letters, e-mails and conversation, more and more people are using the phrase “flourish and prosper” recently and I wondered just how many have actually analyzed what that actually means in terms of business money management, and just how it can be accomplished.

Socrates said, “The beginning of wisdom is a definition of terms“ so, by habit, I went to the oldest set of dictionaries that I own to get the purest definition of…

Money Management Tip – Stop…BEFORE You Roll Up That Spare Change

I live, think, and breathe money management, so I can’t believe I haven’t told you this before.

I guess I thought everybody knew this, until I was talking to a friend of mine today who said, “I finally rolled up that big jug of change last night and took it to the bank today.”

Of course I asked, “Did you find any silver dimes, quarters or nickels in it?”

And she said, “What?”

Okay, so I assumed, and you know what that usually means. Darn!

So here’s…

New Braces Comfort Product for Patients

A new patient comfort product that just became available at DentaKit.com.

It is called ComfortBrace Protective Strips.

ComfortBrace looks like a "whitestrip" but contains no whitening chemicals. Like a "whitestrip," it totally covers the teeth and brackets, creating a clear barrier between braces and the inside of the mouth. It can be worn for an entire day, and stays on throughout eating, drinking, or sleeping. It has a fresh mint taste.

You can…

What I saw in Joplin ... and what you can do to help

Dedra Montgomery started to cry as I talked to her. It was late in the day on Wednesday and I had reached her on her cell phone. The Henry Schein rep was driving in Joplin after a day of helping her customers try to salvage what they could from their destroyed dental practices.

“Until you’ve been here, you just can’t understand,” she said after apologizing to me for her emotions.

A day later, I understood.

On Thursday morning, Montgomery and…

Jenna Fischer plays dental hygienist (and don't forget Aniston's dentist)

Two upcoming summer movies will feature characters that work in the dental profession — "Horrible Bosses" and "A Little Help."

Jenna Fischer, who plays Pam on The Office, is the star of "A Little Help," in which she plays a dental hygienist. Here's the trailer, which opens with a scene in the dental office. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ljN1DV8B1w

The Power of Scheduling Overdue Patients for Your Dental Office

Dentists spend thousands of dollars every year trying to get new patients to come to their practice.  Some wrap their car with a creative design, others try radio ads, others direct mail, but is it the most efficient?

The average dental practice has hundreds of overdue patients on record in their filing cabinet, but most do very little to reactivate these people. They spend thousands of dollars trying to find more patients when they already have plenty of overdue patients on record in…
