I'd love to do that Mary, since I have a poodle and a bichon, but some practitioners just tell me this is not hygienic! However, I'd probably prefer the doggie love, but that's just me. Thanks for posting!

I thought I knew a lot about dental insurance, Carol, but this was an eye-opener to me! Dentists need to get out their magnifying glasses and read every single word of contracts they sign with third-party carriers.

Scene: A typical dental office. Action: Patient lying back in the dental chair with napkin around his neck, as the dentist begins a procedure. Now here’s where the scene changes from usual — out from under the napkin pops the tiny, cute head of an adorable Yorkshire terrier! Even more unusual, the patient is not surprised. Medicare Fraud or Poor Practice Management?
On March 6, Dr. Roy S. Shelburne of Pennington Gap, Va., was convicted of 10 felony charges involving racketeering, health care fraud, structuring funds, and money laundering. He was convicted by a federal jury in Abington, Va. According to the prosecution, he maximized his practice's income by overbilling insurance carriers and Medicaid for services that were never performed and for services that were performed, but not medically necessary.

I was happy to hear from you. I have been meaning to get involved in this "page" for quite a while, but just recently had time to actually do it. I hope that you, your sweet husband and sweet puppies are well. Here in Colorado we are enjoying the most beautiful Indian Summer weather I think I have ever seen.
