I was with Lynn, and you were absolutely hilarious! I hope all of the pictures turned out! (I think I had Anne's camera!) All that Jazz was one of the most creative and memorable RDH sessions I've attended! "Maureen, the court reporter!"...the gum, the nails,.....etc!!
Hope to see you at UOR, and hope your recovery has been a speedy one! "You go girlfriend!!" Best wishes, Mary
HI Maureen...Thank you so very much for your comment on my photos. I really appreciated it so much. It is worth it all when I get a comment like yours and some of the others I have received. Loved your part in the sketch..you really got into your character, that's for sure! Thanks again and I hope to see you and 'meet' you next year, if I am fortunate enough to go again! All best, Hillary
Thanks for the compliment! I have to say there were many people I wanted to meet at this year's UOR, that I didn't have a chance with last year-- and you were definitely one of them! Our walk back to the Palmer House that one day was a really great opportunity to get to know you , and I feel lucky in some ways that i didn't get into the Chicago hilton after all. i shared some nice talks with new friends in the walking between the two hotels.
In addition, kudos to you on your part in the All That Jazz wrap-up session-- you are one creative lady, I've gotta say! You gave me as much delight and as many laughs as all the scripted moments did on everyone else's part! I have a couple great pictures of you as you sat there as the court reporter-and I know Mary Kost got even more with Millie's camera- and it makes me smile even now when I look at them. What great fun and energy you displayed as the skits progressed!
Looking forward to seeing you again at UOR's to come!
Maureen, Carol Lee is a good friend of mine. A former president of the California DHA, she was one of the Sunstar/RDH recipients from last year in Washington. A very nice lady. She's teaching a course on tai chi in Chicago, and it was kind of a late addition. If you could help get the word out...
