I am in the northwestern part of Pennsylvania, but I think things are better on the eastern half of the state. Not a lot better, but better. I know that the pay scale is much higher, but so is the cost of living. With (soon to be ) 12 schools of DH…
In our state of Pennsylvania there are now 11 schools of DH, with a new one opening within the year. When I moved here over 30 years ago, the job market was great for dental hygienists. Now it is very tight. I have not seen an opening in some time.…

- We have one school in Vermont. I graduated from the University but now I think the tech course of two years is one school too many. There are no jobs in Vt.
