That is so exciting..I never realized the freedom in Canada and I am very close to the border. Is it only in Ontario?

Hi Deborah, We are in a new reality in Ontario, Canada! Dental Hygienists here, who meet the requirements, can now 'self-initiate', like Colorado, or California in the States??! I have been practicing for 18 years, and now have opened my own practice. It brings in a whole new perspective for me. I have to do it all now, from business planning and start-up,advertising and promotion,to running the office,as well as my clinical responsibilities... There are no longer enough hours in the day! My next big step will be hiring someone to work with me! I absolutely love what I am doing, but would love some pointers from those fellow hygienists who have been there, and are doing it!
