Looks a bit inactive over here, but I was curious to what degree docs are using CEREC Connect. Take your digital impression via the BlueCam and send data to a lab that has CAD/.CAM milling machines in-lab. This is a great way for docs to mazimize their investment in CEREC, focus on dentistry and leave the high-level estthetic lab work to the labs. As one who works in a lab, we're seeing a good amount of docs using the Connect feature

Thanks, Jill, I'll definitely look into that. Right now, I'm taking old fashioned regular final impressions, getting a bite registration in that prep area and having my partner optical image the model, bite, then and design and mill the CEREC since we have the blocks in the office already. I'd love to get up to speed on this.

Patterson Dental offers Intermediate and Advanced Cerec Training. Since it's not from Cerec specifically, it shouldn't be sales focused. That said, since you already have a Cerec machine on site, you may want to talk to your Cerec Rep. I would think that Cerec may have included in the initial purchase contract, training of new associates in the use of the technology, as that is not uncommon in large ticket sales in the health and dental industry.

I've joined a practice that has CEREC 3 already Which is a good course to take for beginners without the "heavy sales" for a CEREC machine since there's one here already? Thanks.
